I’m an industrial design student wrapping up my last year of school at Western Michigan University. Throughout my schooling, I’ve really positioned myself for a role working with a variety of consumer products and hard goods. I love any part of the design process where I'm able to collaborate with others to build really successful and exciting product ideas. I think what makes me unique as a designer is my ability to blend practical design solutions with both emotional and experiential design opportunities.
I'm currently looking for an opportunity to work on a team that is dedicated to developing consumer products and flex some of the critical design thinking I’ve learned from my schooling. How I See Design
I see emotion as the driving force behind all design. I work to explore the idea that the products in our lives should be more than just objects. I see every product as an opportunity to represent themes and ideas that shape us as people in a way no other medium can. Nothing up until this point in my life has been as formative for my development as design has been. I could not imagine myself following any other career path. I already wake up and love what I do every single day and I am ecstatic that I have the opportunity to continue doing this every single day for the rest of my life. I am looking forward to wherever my path will take me.
